Her journey began as a journalist with the ZDF in Germany and Radio NHK in Japan, instilling in her a deep-rooted international perspective. Over the years, she's navigated the complexities of internal crises and merger communications, offering invaluable support to CEOs of major corporations. Her notable contributions include pivotal roles in the acquisition of Mitsubishi Motors by Daimler and the historic Daimler Chrysler merger.

Dr. Karin Funke-Rapp holds a Ph.D. in Japanese Economics from the Free University of Berlin, with academic sojourns in Japan at the prestigious Sophia and Keio University. Additionally, she possesses an M.A. in Political Science and North American Studies. As a native German speaker with native fluency in English, she also serves as a respected moderator on international panels, bridging cultures and facilitating insightful discussions.
